for a long time, i was resistant to the idea of having my own newsletter. the only real reasons i didn’t get started were just the little ones, you know, like lack of time, no motivation, fear of failure—you know, really little things.
but as you can see, i’ve gotten over all of that, at least for now.
my hope here is to keep things simple. i may write and rant a bit here and there, but my main goal is to use this space as a place for my recipes—the ones i might be having trouble persuading a “real” publication to pay me for, but still want to give life and a home to. i’m following in the footsteps of some of my favorite recipe developers and writers and taking things into my own hands, giving myself no excuse not to work on and do what i love: creating fun, approachable recipes that bring me (and hopefully you, too) joy.
if your inbox is already full of newsletters that wallow in the depths unread, then it won’t be a big deal to go ahead and add one more (this one, clearly) to that list.
but if you truly do read and/or cook from the newsletters that you subscribe to, then disregard what i just said and subscribe for the quality recipe-focused content that i’ll be bringing you not so often that you feel the need to unsubscribe but just often enough to provide a jolt of cooking inspiration when you need it.
