hello hello, welcome to the third installment of my reading round-ups. i’ve been feeling *super* indecisive about which recipe should come next, so i thought it would be a perfect time to the unnecessary pressure off myself re: that decision and instead check in with some articles and, spoiler alert, videos that i’ve enjoyed lately. if you want to check out the first two reading round-ups, get the links here: #1 and #2.
this round-up is chaotic, so bear with me. i was looking into the topic of “fusion food” a few weeks ago and found a few interesting reads on that, then went through a little kung pao chicken phase, catalogued a few miscellaneous pieces that are interesting for various reasons and, finally, linked some videos for those of you that might need a little youtube break in your day. oh, and there’s a little surprise if you scroll to the end of this newsletter.
enjoy the reads / watches / surprises and see you with a new recipe next week!

i have a lot of fun recipes in the works but thought i would give you a sneak peek in this round-up so you have a little insight into what’s to come over the next few weeks. here’s what i’m working on:
skillet pizza + kinder egg (lol this is a bit of a troll honestly)
a brown butter apple crumb cake
double hazelnut chocolate chunk cookies
a comforting riff on one of my favorite ragù recipes
chicken piccata but make it, like, a really good sandwich
kimchi + spätzle + mac and cheese
my take on these gochujang caramel cookies (but hold the gochujang and they’re actually not that similar.. lol)
